QUARANTINE TIMES: TIK TOK, TIK TOK

Updated: Aug 5, 2020

Imani and Nittae are rising sophomores at U. of Albany They have said that making tik toks is not as easy as you think but it's a great way to bond with your family during quarantine because making these funny videos allows them to beat the stress and have fun with so much time on their hands, instead of staying in bed all day. Khadi is a rising sophomore at Syracuse university, “ Dancing is my life. With all my school work and classes I haven't really had time to dance, so now that I am home I am taking the opportunity to learn new dances, and the best part is doing it with my right hand --my sister.’’ Rakieta is a nursing student also interested in makeup since she was in middle school when she heard of the ‘’Don’t Rush’’ challenge. She said ‘’ this was the right time for me to continue to practice my makeup skills not only on myself but also on my sister who came from Africa to visit. Although she came not at a good time we were still able to bond through makeup. Now we can't stop watching the video of how amazing she looks.’’

PLEASE CONSIDER A DIFFERENT KIND OF CHALLENGE. BY DONATING TO GATORS IN NEED YOU WILL BE HELPING MANY ALLEGHENY COLLEGE STUDENTS FIND THEIR FEET AND RHYTHM ONCE MORE.
